PURPOSE:To prevent the resetting actions of an equipment due to noises, etc., by writing the prescribed contents into a memory when a valid state of the reset signal is released and the power supply voltage drops and controlling the resetting actions based on the memory contents. CONSTITUTION:The initialization of a printer is carried out when the power supply voltage exceeds a reference level after a power supply is turned on. At the same time, a working mode is written into a nonvolatile memory of a microcomputer unit 4. Then, a reset signal is valid when a noise is produced in a picture recording state. However, it is checked and known that the nonvolatile memory of the unit 4 is working with the rise of the reset signal. Thus a printing action is carried out as it is. When a main switch is turned off, the power supply voltage drops less than the reference level and an interruption signal INT is produced. Then a microcomputer unit 3 writes a stop mode into the nonvolatile memory of the unit 4. The reset signal is stopped when the power supply voltage drops further and the power supply voltage is set at zero. |
