PURPOSE:To correct the position of a cassette even if the cassette is diagonally inserted so that the cassette is surely moved and guided by pinching both side edges of the cassette by means of 1st and 2nd long-sized bodies disposed along the moving direction of the cassette and guiding and driving the cassette in the moving direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:The cassette 10 is inserted through an insertion port onto a flat-plate shaped guide 28 in an arrow A direction. Timing belts 40 and 70 pressed to both side edges of the cassette 10 are first parted by the max. distance and, therefore, an operator is capable of inserting the cassette 10 into an arbitrary position. A motor 74 is driven when the insertion of the cassette 10 is detected by a detector 104. The timing belt 70 is thereby driven toward the timing belt 40 while the belt presses one side edge of the cassette 10. Even if, therefore, the cassette 10 is inserted diagonally with respect to the insertion direction, the cassette 10 is corrected to a straight state between the belts 40 and 70 and the cassette is surely conveyed in the arrow A direction by the belts 40, 70.
