<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retardant coating material for wires, which has improved properties with regard to the loss of flexibility by heat history, by blending a polycondensate of an arom. dicarboxylic acid, an aliph. glycol and an ester-forming halogenated compd. with a bisoxazoline. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. is obtd. by blending a flame-retardant arom. polyester copolymer having a halogen content of 0.5-30wt.%, obtd. by polycondensing an arom. dicarboxylic acid or its ester-forming derivative (A) with an aliph. glycol or its ester-forming derivative (B) and an ester-forming halogenated compd. (C) with 0.1-10wt.% (based on the total amount of the compsn.) bisoxazoline compd. Examples of the bisoxazoline compd. are those of formula (wherein R is a bivalent org. group; p is 0 or 1). 2,2'-m-Phenylene bis(2-oxazoline) is particularly preferred.</p> |
