PURPOSE:To allow the winding direction of a coil coincident with the fastening direction of a binder and to tightly bind a coil at all times by arranging the revolving device revolving a coil on a horizontal plane to a transfer route. CONSTITUTION:A coil is taken off from a winder 3 by a coil car 2 first and transferred to the position of a revolving device 8. In the case of the winding direction of the coil being coincident with the fastening direction of the hoop of a binder, it is bound by transferring to the position of the binder by a walking beam 5 as it is. However, in the case of the coil winding direction being differed from the hoop fastening direction, the revolving device 8 is revolved 180 deg. in the state of loading the coil to allow the coil winding direction coincident with the hoop fastening direction. Thereafter, it is bound by transferring to the position of the binder 6 by the walking beam 5. Consequently the coil always bound tightly can be fed to the succeeding stage.
