PURPOSE:To sufficiently secure the thickness of a lever and to provide the lever with strength capable of resisting operation force by superposing and joining a pair of plate materials to form the lever and bending the tip parts of the plate materials to form a footstool. CONSTITUTION:The lever 1 consisting of two plate materials 5a, 5b and the footstool 2 consisting of a pair of bending parts 7, 7 are simultaneously formed by superposing the sides of the plate materials 5a, 5b and joining them by spot welding procedure or the like. Since the lever 1 of an operation pedal is constituted of a pair of plate materials 5a, 5b joined with each other, the level 1 can be provided with the prescribed strength capable of resisting the operation load of the pedal without much increasing the thickness of each plate material. |
