摘要 PURPOSE:To enable an engine to be stably controlled even in a steady operative condition with no worsening of the transient response characteristic, by detecting an intake pipe pressure in an analog value and controlling the engine being based on a digital value converted by a period determined on the basis of the product of the engine maximum permissible speed and the quantity of cylinders. CONSTITUTION:An engine is equipped with a pressure sensor 6 detecting by an analog value an intake pressure in the downstream side of a throttle valve 8 and a microcomputer 44 converting the analog value into a digital value by a period, determined on the basis of the product of the engine maximum permissible speed and the quantity of cylinders, determining a control amount being based on the digital value and controlling the engine. Accordingly, A/D converting an output of the pressure sensor 6 by the period, determined considering the pulsating frequency characteristic of the engine, so as to control a fuel injection quantity and ignition timing, the engine can be stably controlled even in a steady operative condition with no worsening of the transient response characteristic.
