PURPOSE:To completely prevent oil leakage by using a labyrinth to generate a drag against sudden movement, in a hydraulic snubber used for the earth quake-proof supporting device for the equipment, piping, etc. of a nuclear power plant. CONSTITUTION:A fluid 13 in the cylinder of a hydraulic snubber 1 is divided into a fixed inside space 6 and an equipment side inside space 7 with a labyrinth 12 as a boundary. A rod 15 is gently moved with respect to the slow heat trans fer of equipment 2 and the liquid 13 inside is moved through the flow passage of the labyrinth 12 in the direction opposite to the rod 15, thereby, without generating a drag and following the displacement. On the other hand, with respect to sudden movement such as earthquake, etc., even though the rod 15 tends to move, the movement of the fluid 13 is prevented by the flow passage resistance of the labyrinth 12 and fluid pressure in the fixed side inside space 6 is varied generating a drag. Also, since bellows 17 is used on the through part of the rod 15, the leakage of fluid 13 can be completely prevented. |
