PURPOSE:To obtain excellent offset resistance, environmental resistance of electrostatic charge and positive electrostatic chargeability by consisting of a titled toner of a specific alcohol monomer, monomer contg. a diol component and bivalent carboxylic acid monomer and incorporating a polyester resin having >=1 and <=30 acid value into the toner. CONSTITUTION:The polyester resin which consists of the trihydric or higher hydric alcohol monomer expressed by the formula I, the monomer contg. the diol component expressed by the formula II, and the bivalent carboxylic acid monomer and has >=1 and <=30 acid value is incorporated into the toner. In the formula I, A denotes an alkylene group of 1-10C or a pair of electron pairs; R1 denotes an ethylene group or propylene group; R2 denotes a methylene group or ethylene group; R3 denotes an alkyl group of 1-8C; x and y denote 1-7; z denotes 0-2 integer; p and q denote 0-3; r denotes 1-3 integer; s denotes 0-1 integer. However, p and q are not simultaneously 0 and further, (p+q)Xr takes >=3 numerical value. In the formula II, R denotes an ethylene group or propylene group; v and w are integers and the average value of the sum of both is in a 2-7 range. |
