The lifting lugs used (10,10') are flat, and each of them is rotatably connected to the body of the building by an articulation (12) adjacent to one edge (20) between one side of the building and a longitudinal coping (7) on the building roof. This coping extends along the building side, forming the edge. Thus, the lugs are rotatable between a vertical lifting position and a horizontal rest position on the coping. In this latter position, they act as supports for another building or building section stacked on that of which they form part. Each lug comprises one arm of a hinge, the other arm (19) of which is vertically fitted on the exterior of the building below the edge. The lifting lugs are arranged in pairs along the two long sides of the body of the building, at a distance from and on opposite sides of a transversal central line. The coping extends along the long side of the building, terminating at the corner with a heightened support, the upper surfaces of which are on a level with those of the lugs. |
