PURPOSE:To obtain a coating compound composition not settling pigment, having excellent gas preventing properties, by blending a coating film-forming resin with a liquid modified ethylenic random copolymer, pigment, etc., in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. film-forming resin (e.g. alkyd resin, phenolic resin, petroleum resin, etc.) is blended with (B) 0.01-20pts.wt. liquid modified ethylenic random copolymer (e.g. copolymer obtained by grafting 3-10C unsaturated carboxylic acid, etc., onto a liquid ethylenic random copolymer prepared from ethylene and 3-20C alpha-olefin) and (C) 5-700pts.wt. pigment and/or filler to give the aimed composition.
