DETECTING APPARATUS OF ABNORMALITY IN STATE OF CONNECTION OR CONTACT OF CONDUCTOR OF ELECTRIC APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To facilitate the determination of normality or abnormality, by a method wherein a coherence output power spectrum based on a frequency spectrum of mechanical vibrations given to a substance to be tested is compared with a reference spectrum to detect abnormality. CONSTITUTION:A frequency spectrum based on time-series signals of vibrations generated by a first means to give mechanical vibrations to a substance 1 to be tested is detected by a second means 3 to detect the spectrum, while a frequency spectrum based on vibrations propagating through the substance 1 to be tested is detected by a third means 4. A coherence output power spectrum is obtained from these frequency spectrums by a fourth means 5, and this spectrum is compared with a coherence output power spectrum of a normal state computed beforehand by fifth means, so as to determine the abnormality diagnosis of a conductor element of the substance 1 to be tested. By this constitution, the abnormality in the state of connection or contact of a conductor of an electric apparatus is detected easily even when slight loosening occurs.
