PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of dust to a medium or an optical head by providing a tapestry weave-like filter in the outer peripheral part of the medium so that the medium is not brought into contact with the medium inside a cartridge case. CONSTITUTION:In the outer peripheral part of the optical disk medium 3 in the cartridge case 1, the tapestry weave-like air filter 2 is provided so that it is not brought into contact with the medium 3 with a guide plate 6. If the medium 3 rotates at high speed by a spindle 4, air near the surface of the medium is brown against the outer peripheral part, is struck against the filter 2 at an almost right angle. It passes the filter 2 with a large action so as to be purified and the circulation 5 of air is formed. Thus, the adhesion of dust to the medium 3 and the optical head can be prevented, and since the filter is tapestry weave-like, the medium effectively operates even if in the case of reverse rotation.
