摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound from methanol and/or dimethyl ether in a long catalytic life even at high temperature and in high yield, by using an aluminosilicate zeolite catalyst molded by the use of alpha-calcium tertiary phosphate as a binder. CONSTITUTION:Methanol and/or dimethyl ether is reacted in the presence of an aluminosilicate zeolite catalyst molded by the use of alpha-calcium tertiary phosphate as a binder such as a catalyst obtained by molding and granulating a mixture of synthetic or natural aluminosilicate and 0.5wt.% alpha-calcium tertiary phosphate in the presence of a molding auxiliary and then carrying out hydrothermal treatment, at 300-700 deg.C under 0.1-100atm. total pressure at 0.01-20hr<-1> weight weight time space velocity to give a lower olefin in high selectivity by using the readily handleable molded catalyst having practical strength without causing reduction in catalytic activity and deterioration of catalyst even at high temperature.
