PURPOSE:To execute a satisfactory control by a simple constitution, by providing in parallel a speech recognizing means and a voice detecting means, controlling continuously an equipment by a recognized control command, and also, stopping its continuous control by inputting an arbitrary voice. CONSTITUTION:A means (circuit 2) for recognizing the contents of a voice input (microphone 1) and a means (circuit 3) for detecting whether the voice input exists or not are provided in parallel, and the continuous control of an electronic equipment 4 is executed by the voice input of once recognized by the speech recognizing means 2, and also, when it is detected that a new voice input exists, by the voice detecting means 3, the continuous control is stopped. In such a way, since a simple voice detecting circuit 3 is provided in parallel, the continuous control of the equipment and its stop can be executed by one CPU, and the control of the electronic equipment can be executed satisfactorily by a simple constitution.
