PURPOSE:To attain direct connection to a desired opposite party by inputting a personal code of the user desired for a call, converting it into a telephone number so as to set the channel. CONSTITUTION:When the user A registers a telephone number of a terminal equipment 2 desiring for a call, the corresponding information between the personal code of the user A and the telephone number of the terminal equipment 2 is stored in the converter 10. In inputting a designation code of an incoming side exchange from the terminal equipment 1 by the user B, the controller 4 sets a channel between the equipment 1 and the channel of the outgoing trunk 7 to a network 3. When the user B inputs the personal code and the personal code of the user A, the controller 6 transfers the personal code of the user A to the converter 10, where the personal code is converted into the telephone number of the equipment 2 by using its corresponding information. Then a call tone is sent to the equipments 1, 2, the channel between the incoming trunk 8 and the equipment 2 is set and the users A, B enter the talking state.
