PURPOSE:To disperse the broken spots of a brush bristle material in the longitudinal direction as well as to improve durability in the brush bristle material, by winding filament yarn on an outer circumferential surface of an abrasive grain mixing plastic core as covering yarn, fixing it thereon, and setting it down to the brush bristle material. CONSTITUTION:Eight pieces of nylon monofilaments mixed with abrasive grains are set down to a core 21, and multifilament yarn 22 made up of arranging about 100 pieces of an aromatic polyamide monofilament of about 1 denier is spirally wound on an outer circumferential surface of this core 21 as covering yarn. From this top, furthermore multifilament yarn 23 made up of arranging a 6-nylon monofilament of about 6 deniers in the same manner or so as the yarn 22 is spirally wound on in the reverse direction as the covering yarn. Next, these yarn filaments 22 and 23 as the covering yarn are fixed in spiral windingness with a bonding agent, thus such a brush bristle material 2 that is excellent durability is secured.
