A luminaire, in particular a portable luminaire, has a filament lamp socket (lamp holder) (9) whose housing (10) is releasibly mounted in the luminaire housing (2). In this case, the socket housing (10) is connected to the luminaire housing (2) by means of a linear plug/latching connection. Latching bodies (11) which are arranged on the lamp housing (2) and which are assigned in each case one latching element (12) on the socket side can serve this purpose. The latching elements (12) can be integrally arranged on the socket housing (10). They can, however, also be a component of a separate intermediate piece which is connected to the socket housing (10) likewise by means of a linear plug/latching connection. <IMAGE>
