PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness and size of a camera with a slightly long focus lens such as a short zoom lens by employing a rotary folding system and an in-finding storage system for a lens barrel. CONSTITUTION:The lens barrel 2 is stored in the storage part 1c of a camera main body 1 and placed in a lens barrel storage state wherein it is covered while put in the space between the objective 6 and ocular 7 of a finder member 5. Here, when the lens barrel 2 is set into a photographic state, the finder member 5 is slid left and then the lens barrel 2 is rotated clockwise around a shaft 4 to project at right angles to the camera main body 1; and the finder member 5 is slid right and positioned at the storage part 1c again, so that the lens barrel enters the photographic state. When the lens barrel is stored, the lens barrel is easily stored in the camera main body by similar operation. Consequently, the camera can be made sufficiently thin and compact.
