The photopolymerisable recording layer in the recording material suitable for the production of printing formes or resist patterns contains, as the polymeric binder, a film-forming copolymer which has a multi-phase morphology, one phase having a glass temperature below room temperature and a further phase having a glass temperature above room temperature, which copolymer has been obtained by free-radical copolymerisation of at least one macromer with at least one further olefinically unsaturated copolymerisable organic compound.
