PURPOSE:To prevent peeling off of reinforcing cloth, by forming a projection integrally from a belt body composed of liquid injection elastomer material burried with tensile members, then mounting a reinforcing cloth applied with a thin layer of liquid injection elastomer material onto the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:When an endless transmission belt is manufactured, projecting portions 3 are formed as tooth sections integrally from liquid injection elastomer material with same pitch in the longitudinal direction on the inner circumferential face of a belt body 1 made from liquid injection elastomer material burried with spiral tensile members 6, then a reinforcing cloth 4 is applied onto the surface of the projecting portion 3 and an endless transmission belt 5 is pressure formed. When a thin film made from liquid injection elastomer material is formed onto the surface of the reinforcing cloth 4, adhesion of the reinforcing cloth 4 to the tooth side 3 is improved remarkably. Consequently, the reinforcing cloth is not peeled off and the reinforcing cloth is protected by the thin film thereby it is protected from damage. |
