PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a malfunction and product defect by providing an insertion aperture for feeding to a metallic mold, inserting a feeding member therein and pushing the feeding member into a molten metal prior to solidification of the molten metal. CONSTITUTION:The insertion aperture 3 for a pressing rod 2 is formed in the adequate position of the metallic mold 1 and the feeding member 10 which is a separate body is loaded into the aperture 3. The member 10 is pushed into the molten metal by the pressing rod 2 before the molten metal in front of the member 10 solidifies after the molten metal is injected into a cavity 4. The rod 2 is retreated and the member 10 is held stuck to the product and is detached in this state from the loading space 3a upon completion of casting. Infiltration of the molten metal into the surface of the rod 2 and the aperture 3 is thereby obviated. Generation of the malfunction arising from defective sliding is, therefore, prevented and product defect is no longer generated.
