<p>A vehicle is supported and guided on an inverted T profile monorail. It comprises 3 modules (m1), (m2), and m(c), which are articulated to one another by linking boxes. Girders on the boxes support the guiding wheels (rg). The supporting wheels (ra) are mounted at the end of rods at the centre of the module. In addition, the carriage has: a security system to prevent tipping due to the lateral forces of the wind, which releases the sheet of the sails if a wheel becomes detached, an emergency braking system actuated by switches, a pilot-operated braking system.</p> |
