PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device and start an engine efficiently, by connecting a starting coil to a battery power source only at the time of starting, and by disconnecting a power generating coil from the battery power source only at the time of starting. CONSTITUTION:Between a battery power source 32, and a generator 12A and a motor 11A, a relay switch 34A driven by closing a starter button 31 is set. Only at the time of operating the starter button 31, a contact 34a is closed, and the battery power source 32 and the motor 11A are connected to each other, and then, a contact 34b between the battery power source 32 and the generator 12A is opened, and generated voltage due to the generator is prevented from being applied to the motor 11A as a counter-electromotive force. After an engine is started, the motor 11A is disconnected from the battery power source 32 by resetting the starter button 31, and the battery 32 is contrived to be charged by means of the generator 12A.
