PURPOSE:To read a bit of required information without a waiting time at the time of a necessity by reserving an registering the classification of the required picture information by respective terminal equipments and storing the constantly updated latest picture information in the terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:The kind of the picture information required in the respective terminal equipments is reserved and registered in the registration information file 4 of a video tex center 1. When the information of a picture information file 3 is updated, an information control pat 7 commands a file control part 6 to retrieve the registration information file 4 and extracts the terminal equipments for reserving and registering the kind of the updated picture information. The information control part 7 instructs the extracted terminal equipment number to a rotating control part 8 to dial to a telephone exchange network 9 and call the terminal equipment and transmits the updated picture information. The transmitted information is stored in the information storing part 13 of the terminal equipment 10 and a subscriber can read it at any time if desired.
