PURPOSE:To enable continuous automatic cutting by locating the shape steel of an angle steel, channel steel, etc., with an X axial numerical control and cutting it with the numerical data of the shape. CONSTITUTION:A material 1 is stopped at fixed position by the rack cladded to a rail 5 by the NC servomotor of a push truck 4 to cut a flange face in the state of 8-1, 9-1. In such a case, the cutting is effected with a flange face 10 spreading the width taking into consideration of the web cutting to be performed later to eliminate a scrap 11 from the cutting part. The cutting of the web face is performed in the state of 8-2, 9-2. In this case, since the flange part is already cut off in channel shape, a cutting torch can easily cut by coming into the groove according to the input data of an NC controller 12.
