PURPOSE:To provide a processing device for flat iron parts for such a steel structure as bridge, wherein the product quality, processing accuracy, and efficiency are enhanced, by performing boring and cutting of the front and rear ends using patterns automatically and continuously by means of NC control. CONSTITUTION:When processings are made to a flat iron work 1 through numerical control using a NC controller 25 of this device, boring of these processings is made with hole coordinates indicated by X-Y coordinates. That is, a boring machine 10 bores a hole in specified position with the aid of an X-axis servo motor 9 and a Y-axis servo motor 13. Cutting is made with a cutting torch 18 by instructing the cutting position by X-axis and the cutting configuration by X'-Y coordinates. Setting of the cutting position on the flat iron 1 is obtained by the X-axis servo motor 9, and the pattern of the cut part is made through contour control interlocked with the X'-axis servo motor 24 and Y-axis servo motor 13.
