The installation system for ADP work stations consists of three basic components, namely base elements (10), supporting elements (20) and stand elements (30). All the elements have various cables (leads) (14, 15, 24, 25, 34, 35) in their interiors. The base elements can be mechanically and electrically connected to one another by means of plug connectors. The supporting elements can be inserted into the base elements in the grid dimension and in consequence can be electrically and mechanically connected thereto. The operating elements are electrically and mechanically connected to the supporting elements. An installation system is thus achieved which can be networked electrically as desired and manages without cables having to be laid in each individual case (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
