<p>The valve joins two or three channels together to control the flow of compressed air. The cylindrical housing (1) and operating shaft (16) are made of plastics or light metal. The two control discs (7, 8), which are made of ceramic material, are clamped between the bottom of the boring and the end of the turning device (15). The turning device is retained in the housing by a collar (24) which is ultra-sound welded (27) into the shaft. The two discs (7, 8) are pierced with holes which allow or inhibit flow between the various channels (4, 6). The various parts are sealed on O-ring (18) and a rubber profiled seal (22).</p> |
