The circuit arrangement is intended to produce balanced output voltages at a particularly low cost, which balanced output voltages are as independent of the load as possible. The circuit arrangement contains a transformer (T) and a downstream rectifier (G) which emits the output voltages (+ U1, -U1). In order to balance the output voltages (+U1, -U1), a first voltage divider (S1) which is formed from reactive components (C5, C6) is connected in parallel with the rectifier (G), a reference potential (0 V) being emitted at the centre tap of the voltage divider (S1). Furthermore, a second voltage divider (S2) is connected in parallel with the first voltage divider (S1). This second voltage divider (S2) is constructed as an active voltage divider and balances the output voltages (+U1, -U1) in the event of an unbalanced load. Capacitors are preferably provided as the reactive components (C5, C6) and emitter followers, arranged in a balanced manner, are preferably provided as the active voltage divider. The invention is provided for output circuits of telex machines which emit bipolar signals (double-current signals). <IMAGE>
