PURPOSE:To provide a device for heating water, in which heat is generated electrically and an explosion and a fire are not generated and which is free from environmental pollution and safe, by opening or closing a valve and detecting a flow rate by a set value of a power regulator, and detecting the temperature of hot water by a temperature sensor thereby to control the quantity and time for supplying power to a work coil of an induction heating oscillator. CONSTITUTION:When a valve 3 is opened, a valve opening signal is transmitted to a power regulator 2, and an induction heating oscillator 1 emits an output based on the signal from the power regulator 2 to supply power to a work coil 6. A pipe 5 meandering in the work coil is made of iron, it generates heat by the induction heating, and water flowing in the pipe is heated to hot water and discharged. The temperature of hot water is measured at the outlet of the work coil by the temperature sensor 4. When the temperature of hot water is low, power is further applied to the oscillator 1. When the temperature of hot water is high, power of the induction heating oscillator is turned down.
