The mechanism is intended for several narrow sheet metal strips to be coiled together. A separate braking action is provided for the individual strips. The strip is clamped by two opposite, continuous chain systems (3,4), via carriage-like roller blocks (7), which are guided on rails (13) in a carrier region (12). Each chain system is guided over a circular arc, excepting the carrier region. Sprockets (23) are located on one side of each chain system, e.g. the strip traction side. |
