PURPOSE:To precisely and at a low cost manufacure the orifice plate used for the print head of bulb type ink jet, by integrally forming the plural separating parts separating the gap between an orifice and an orifice and the outer frame for ink storing part. CONSTITUTION:The outer frame 13 part for ink storing part of orifice plate 11 feeds ink to neighboring orifices 15, 17, 19 and 21 via a capillary channel 31. At that time, though the shorter is the length of channel 31, the more rapid is the refilling velocity of orifice, when its length is made too short, the reason why hydraulic separating parts 23, 25 and 27 are provided, decreases. Then, the thermal energy for ink jet is given with a resistor 33 and power is given to the resistor 33 via electric conductive bodies 35 and 37. Thereafter, the thin layer 39 of passivation substance is formed on the resistor 33 and the electric conductive bodies 35 and 37. Further, a speed required for bulb disappearance is made to be obtained by providing a thermal regulating layer 41 between the resistor 33 and the substrate 43. |
