A 1,4-dihydropyridine derivative of the formula <CHEM> wherein R1 is a cycloalkylmethyl group, R2 is hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R3 is hydrogen atom, hydroxy radical, carboxy radical, alkoxycarbonyl group, carbamoyl radical, phenyl radical, substituted phenyl group or trialkylsilyl group, or R2 and R3 may be bonded each other, and n and m are an integer of 1 to 6, respectively, a salt thereof, process for the manufacture thereof, and use thereof as an ingredient for medicines.
