PURPOSE:To obtain the title sinter comprising an open-cellular porous body, which requires no bonding, can fix an object to be chucked simply by vacuum suction and enables its machining with excellent face and shape precision, by molding at least one kind of powdery fine plastic particles and sintering the molding. CONSTITUTION:Fine particles of at least one plastic selected from among a polyamide, PE, PS, PVC, polycarbonate, an acrylic resin, etc. is optionally mixed with additives such as a fine powder of a thermosetting resin, a metal (oxide) or the like, and the mixture is molded into any desired shape by press molding or the like and sintered by heating in a nonoxidizing atmosphere to obtain the title sinter comprising an open-cellular porous body fitted to the material, hardness, shape and machining process, etc. of an object to be chucked. |
