PURPOSE:To obtain an org. sensitive body having high sensitivity and superior stability to repeated use by laminating a layer of a specified polycyclic quinone compd. and a layer of a specified quinacridone compd. to form an electric charge generating layer on an electrically conductive supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The electric charge generating layer of an org. sensitive body is composed of a layer of a polycyclic quinone compd. represented by formula I (where R1 is H or halogen atom.) and a layer of a quinacridone compd. represented by formula II (where each of R1-R8 is H, halogen atom., alkyl, aryl or alkoxy group). Since the electric charge generating layer is formed by laminating the layers of the two kinds of electric charge generating materials, it has desired absorption spectrum and superior photoconductivity, so an org. sensitive body having high sensitivity is obtd. and the stability to repeated use is improved. |
