PURPOSE:To obtain a casting resin composition, having improved directional property of strength and useful as resin-molded insulators, by filling two kinds of fibrous fillers having different fiber lengths and a particulate filler at a high density in an epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition obtained by filling (A) two kinds of fibrous fillers having different fiber lengths, preferably (i) glass fibers having 3-6mm fiber length and (ii) glass fibers having 30<=70mum fiber length and (B) a particulate filler at a high density in an epoxy resin (e.g. bisphenol type epoxy resin). The components are preferably blended at 0.5-0.8 ratio [(ii)/(i+ii)] in an amount of 50-80wt.% based on the total fillers.
