PURPOSE:To remove periodically long parts stagnating at a hopper outlet by providing a transfer conveyor repeating a reciprocal motion via a drive unit. CONSTITUTION:When the period of reciprocal drive for the feed of IC sticks is, for example, 3 seconds for forward feed toward a parts feed direction, the reverse travel of a transfer conveyor 22 is limited to the duration of about 2 seconds and reciprocally driven by a period of about 5 seconds. As a result, even long parts liable to clog a hopper opening 30 during forward transfer are cleared by the reverse motion of the conveyor 22 for 2 seconds thereafter. And when the transfer conveyor 22 has traveled forward again, long parts thereon are properly supplied outside quantitatively.
