PURPOSE:To prevent an inner tube from being tumbled during the sticking work and necessitates no support member of the inner tube by sticking the inner tube end section encircling an electrode and a stem airtightly in advance with an inorganic adhesive, then sealing an outer tube and the stem airtightly with the inorganic adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A contact section between the stem 4 face on the side of an electrode 31 encircled airtightly by one end section 51 of an inner tube 5 and the end section of the inner tube 5 is coated with paste of crystallized glass frit powder, and the inner tube 5 is supported with a jig 55. They are fed into a seal furnace under this condition and kept at a predetermined seal temperature for a predetermined time, and after they have been airtightly stuck, the jig is removed. Next, a contact section between an outer bulb bottom 2 and the stem 4 is coated with paste of glass frit powder, and they are again fed into the seal furnace, then the airtight sticking between an outer tube 1 and the stem 4 is completed. Accordingly, the inner tube is prevented from being tumbled during its sticking work, the production yield of a lamp is improved, the work is simplified, and the reliability of the product can be improved. |
