In view of the increased risks to doctors and staff today from widespread old and new virus infections, for example hepatitis B and Aids, the precleaning of medical hand instruments is carried out by means of mechanical cleaning means, for example brushes, slats or plastic pads which are disposed in a cleaning vessel, which is closed if appropriate, or a cleaning dish, below the liquid level of a disinfectant solution. Advantageous embodiments are proposed which prevent a splashing of contaminated particles into the surroundings. In this context, an additional disinfectant dish is proposed at the workplace, which serves as first aid after injuries incurring during handling at the workplace. The invention may also be used in non-medical practices, for example in hairdressing, manicure, pedicure, cosmetic and tattooing operations to protect staff and the customers against infections. |
