In a motor vehicle rear axle semi-trailing arms (4, 5) are arranged so that they can swivel to a limited extent about a vertical axis in addition to their normal swivel axis. Track rods (16, 17) of adjustable length each act on one axle beam (18, 19) and one cross member (1) of the rear axle respectively and thereby enable the rear wheels (27, 28) to be steered independently of one another when their length adjusting device is operated. <IMAGE>
