PURPOSE:To always obtain a good image having no image flow not only during ordinary use but also after the stop of use by parting an image forming member further from an image carrying body at the time of non-operating of a device than at the time of the operation thereof. CONSTITUTION:A lever 13 supports an electric charger 2 for transfer and sepn. and a conveying roller 3. The lever is brought to a solid line position to bring the charger 2 and the roller 3 to the position near a photosensitive drum 1 while the device is not used. The lever is brought to an alternate long and two short dashes line position to hold the charger 2 and the roller 3 in the positions apart from the drum 1 while the device is not used. Magnetic force of a solenoid by on and off of the main switch of, for example, the device is used for a moving means 11 to move the lever 13. Stagnation of the image flow material near the image carrying body at the time of the non-operating of the device is thereby prevented, by which the sticking of the image flow material to the image carrying body 1 is prevented and the good image having no image flow is obtd.
