The wooden play-box, composed of a chipboard sheet, four outer walls, ten partitions which can be plugged together, thirty-six coloured wooden lids (green, white, red, blue, black, yellow) provided with grey felt number spots (one-six) and thirty-six wooden balls as gripping buttons, mutually interchangeable, is used, as a result of its clearly stimulating character and large number of possible alternative forms learning and playing, for children of pre-school age and primary schoolchildren and for therapeutic purposes in working with the handicapped, as a way of providing ability and stimulus to the respective user group in certain areas such as perception, sensomotor skills, speech, social/emotional behaviour, intellect, stimulation of the imagination, and is a game both for intensive individual care (occupational therapy) and for selective group therapy.
