PURPOSE:To prevent service to customers from being dropped by storing duplicate data as printing data at the time of generating a fault in a duplicate data printing part during transaction processing to continue transaction with a customer, and at the time of restoring the fault, printing out the data printed at the time of generating the fault. CONSTITUTION:When a fault is generated in a duplicate data printing part 18 on the way of transaction processing, the duplicate data of the transaction is stored by a storing means M5 for storing the printing data at the time of fault generation, and when the fault is restored by a clerk, the stored data are printed out on recording paper. Even if the fault is generated in the printing part 18, the transaction processing is continued and the customer can be allowed to end the transaction independently of the fault and receive a medium such as a bankbook. Since the duplicate data of the transaction is stored as printing data at the time of fault generation in the storage means M5, the data are not canceled. Consequently, the customer is not waited and clerk's labor such that the clerk delivers a bankbook or the like to the customer at the time of restoring the fault can be omitted. |
