摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the combined effect of an external error control and to attain the effective transmission of signals even if burst error characteristic after Viterbi-decoding is changed by the state of a line by changing the timewise order of data series by the optimum interleave size according to the state of the line. CONSTITUTION:In a base station 1 and a mobile station 2 in which voice lines have been already set and the request of executing the communication of a non-telephone signal is issued, the mobile station 2 side selects the interleave size I from a table according to the fading period fD and the depth D of fading obtained by comparing the intensity of received electric field with the threshold level of (n) level and informs the interleave size information to the base station 1. After that, a transmission part changes the timewise order of the data coded with a second error control with considering the interleave size I as a unit and the data subjected to a convolution coding to be transmit. A reception part restores the data which is Viterbi-decoded based on the interleave size information and executes decoding of the second error control. Thus, the lowering of the efficiency of combined error control caused by the alteration of the state of the line can be prevented, so that the effective transmission of signals can be possible.
