PURPOSE:To promote atomization of wall flow fuel by providing a projecting portion having an ascending slope facing to fluid which flows in a passage and a plurality of grooves each width of which is getting narrower as ascending the ascending slope on the inner circumferential wall on the upstream side of the branch portion of branch ports. CONSTITUTION:An intake manifold has a riser portion 1 connected to a fuel supplying device, and to which a plurality of bent passage portions 2, 3 are connected and also many branch ports 4-7 are branched toward each cylinder from each of bent passage portions 2, 3. In this construction, the inner circumferential wall of each of bent passage portions 2, 3 on the upstream side of the branch portion 8 of each of branch ports 4-7 has an ascending slope 10 facing to fluid flowing in each passage, and provides a projection 12 having a plurality of grooves 11 each width of which is getting narrower as ascending the ascending slope 10. Thereby, a wall flow formed by the fuel in the intake manifold stuck to the inner wall of a pipe, is made to ascend the ascending slope 10 through each groove 11 and to be separated. And the separated fuel is atomized by air.
