PURPOSE:To contrive improvement in workability, by a method wherein a transformer core is composed of a leg part core, a yoke part core and a connection part core, the former two cores are laminated in advance, and after a coil has been assembled, the upper connecting part core only is inserted into the part opposing to the leg part core and the yoke part core. CONSTITUTION:The five core blanks 1, which are formed by cutting the end part of a rectangular leg part core blank at an angle of 60 deg. and shifted in longitudinal direction successively, is set and laminated as an repetition unit. The cross-section of said end part has a stepped form. Also, the yoke part core is cut at an angle of 60 deg., and it is laminated by shifting in the same measurement. On the other hand, five trapezoidal connection part core blanks 4 having vertical angle of 30 deg., which are stacked by shifting, are set as a working unit, they are inserted successively into the opposite part of the leg part core and the yoke part core, and a closed magnetic field core is constituted. As a result, the connecting part core blanks 4 can be made light in weight, it is handled easily, and the manual insertion of the yoke part core blanks can be performed in a short period.
