PURPOSE:To cut paper at the start end of a page without generating a non- printing part at the head of the page, by providing a temporary stop means for temporarily stopping a printing head and a feed motor when the start end of the page reaches a paper cutting off position during printing. CONSTITUTION:When the printing of the digital image data of a page memory 5 corresponding to one page is finished, it is judged whether printing is one copy mode and, at the time of the one copy mode, a feed motor is further driven to feed roll paper 51 to a paper cutting-off position. By a temporary stop means for temporarily stopping a printing head and the feed motor when the start end of the page reaches the paper cutting-off position during printing, the paper can be cut at the start end of the page by a cutter 7 without generating non-printed part at the head of the page. |
