PURPOSE:To improve the development, maintenance and inspection efficiency of programs by inputting the instruction data through a console typewriter and loading the desired ones to each desired channel device out of several types of programs. CONSTITUTION:The channel devices 41-4n perform the facsimile communications independently of each other under the control of a central processing unit 2. The received picture signals of the channel device 4i are stored in a disk device 3 and then taken out when the device 4i performs transmission. The device 3 stores (n) types of programs which are used by each channel device 4 for its actuation. A console typewriter 1 is connected to the unit 2, and the instruction data instructing which program is to be loaded to which device 4 is enabled to be inputted. The unit 2 reads out a program corresponding to the instruction data out of the device 3 and loads it into a main memory of the corresponding device 4 based on the received instruction data.
