PURPOSE:To stabilize blast furnace operation by measuring gas composition at upper part of raw material in the blast furnace and temp. in the furnace by hanging down upper part sondes in the blast furnace, adjusting supplying method for the raw material by operating the above values and information obtd. from lower part sondes and obtaining indexes for the blast furnace operation over the whole period. CONSTITUTION:The plural upper sondes 2 providing gas samplers are hung down toward circular direction from the upper part of the blast furnace, and the temp. in the furnace together with the gas composition at the upper part in the blast furnace are measured by gas analyzer 5. On the other hand, the fix-type or insert-type lower part sondes 3 are arranged as the same number of the gas samplers at the positions corresponding to the gas samplers to measure the temp. in the furnace and the gas composition. The information obtd. from the upper part sondes 2 and the lower part sondes 3 is operated by a computer 6, and the supplying method for the raw material to the blast furnace is adjusted by the output 7.
