PURPOSE:To improve the sealing performance by integrally molding an auxiliary lip shightly contacting with a rack to the degree that foreign matters can be removed on a main lip slidably pressed to the rack shaft. CONSTITUTION:A main lip 17 is slidably pressed to a rack shaft 4 by a garter spring 19 with the pressure capable of preventing the oil leakage. An auxiliary lip 18 is coaxially and integrally molded on the pressure oil side of this main lip 17. This auxiliary lip 18 is pressed to the rack 4 by its own elasticity and acts to remove foreign matters existing in oil such as chips and dirt and adequately feed the lubricating oil to the main lip 17. Accordingly, the leakage to the outside and the biting of foreign matters can be prevented. In addition, the lubricating oil can be fed to the main lip 17, thus the abrasion of the main lip 17 can prevented.
